Q. How should leather products be maintained?

Wipe off dust softly from the surface with a soft cloth like gauze.
The leather is prone to rain and water leakage. If it becomes wet and
is not treated properly, it may be stained (or color-fading) and hardened.

Q. How should the product be treated if it has got wet?

If the product becomes moist on the surface, wipe off dust from the
surface with a dry and soft cloth. If nothing is done, oil content is
removed from the product and fabrics will shrink and harden. Daily care
should be recommended using leather-dedicated water-proof spray.

Q. Can leather dedicated-cream be used?

Yes, but make sure that colors don’t fade after applying a normally
available dedicated cream over an inconspicuous part of the product.
If no color fading is found, spread a dry cloth with leather-dedicated
cream thinly and apply it equally on the surface. If much cream is applied,
the product may be prone to color-fading or stain.

Q. What are cautions in product storage?

Be careful of leather products, because their qualities are readily
affected by humidity. Do not store the product in a humid closet or
in a plastic bag for long periods of time, otherwise it may be deteriorated.
We strongly recommend each user to keep the product in an airy place and
wrap it with thin paper.

Q. Can hard leather be softened?

Though the leather provides a hard texture in the beginning of use,
the texture becomes leather-original and softened approx. 2 to 3 weeks later.
By putting mink oil into a cloth and applying it to the leather, the product
can be softened. However, considering the properties of leather, make sure
colors will not fade after applying the mink oil over an inconspicuous part
of the product or it will not be stained.

Q. What are cautions in product maintenance?

Do not use benzine or thinner on any account. Pay an extra attention if
the product is wiped off by a wet towel because it may go moldy or fade color.
A flaw on the leather product due to the maintenance cannot be removed.
If it is conspicuously stained, consult the laundry about this inconvenience.
